BEFORE NORWICH: Two-sport athlete at Pinkerton Academy…Strong success in prep rugby as captain and starting prop of U-19 Amoskeag squad and was a member of the 2010-11 New Hampshire-Maine Select team … also played on Pinkerton Academy’s Division I New Hampshire HS state champion football team in 2010 ... listed on honor roll in high school.

PERSONAL: Son of Jeff and Ann Zappen ... has one brother, Riley and one sister, Aubrey ... majoring in Computer Security & Information Assurance.
