NORTHFIELD, Vt.- In their second matchup in New England Wide Collegiate Rugby Conference (NEWCRC) action, the Norwich Men's Rugby team continued to roll with a 54-5 victory over the University of New Hampshire Sunday afternoon at the Graveyard Pitch.

Within the first 20 minutes, the Cadets jumped ahead by 17 with tries by captain
Marius Edwards, and two from
Anthony Kowalski. By the end of the first half, freshman
Kyle Krebs put up two more tries giving him five in his first two NEWCRC matches of the season. Â Norwich held a 32-0 lead at the half with
Ben Steen going two for five on conversions and a penalty kick in the waning seconds.

Edwards opened the second half with a second try that was converted, eventually followed by another score courtesy of
Michel St-Juste. The Wildcats broke through in the 60
th minute to break the shutout in what was a stellar defensive effort. The Dirt Dogs would notch two more tries before the final whistle.

Norwich will continue their homestand when they host UMass Lowell on Oct 7 at 11:30 AM.
