NORTHFIELD, Vt.- The Norwich Men's Rugby team rounded out the home partition of their 15s season with a 32-13 victory over the University of Vermont on Saturday afternoon as they celebrated Senior Day.

The Catamounts jumped out to an early 3-0 lead on a penalty kick, but the Cadets responded in the 18
th minute with a
Marius Edwards try and a
Ben Steen conversion. After a second penalty for Vermont, Norwich responded with another converted try plus conversion, this time by
Greydon Bleu eventually extending their lead to 17-6 by intermission.

Out of halftime, the Dirt Dogs pressure drew two straight Steen penalty kicks, in addition to a penalty try thanks to a plyer being intentionally tripped on a scoring drive.
Michel St-Juste would round out the scoring with an unconverted try. The Catamounts were held off the scoreboard until the last two minutes.

Up next, the Cadets will hit the road as they look to stay undefeated in New England Wide Collegiate Rugby Conference (NEWCRC) play when they travel to Bentley on Oct 22 with an 11 AM start.
