NORTHFIELD, Vt.- The Norwich University Men's Soccer team struck early and often as they shut down Albertus Magnus 5-0 Saturday night at Sabine Field on Senior night.

The most notable among the graduating class was
Joseph Thongsythavong (Salem, Mass) who needed four goals by season's end to become the top goal scorer in program history. Thongsythavong would net the four goals required to set the record tonight scoring in the 17
th , 26
th (Penalty kick), 32
nd (Penalty kick), and 36
th minutes making that 58 goals in his career.
Other impending graduates made their mark on the game as well. Sandwiched between Thongsythavong's first and second goal was a goal by
Matteo Iagrossi (Schenectady, N.Y.) in the 21
st minute, Iagrossi now has goals in consecutive matches.
Amerle Nemeye (Burlington, Vt.) and
Dante Mancini (Hopedale, Mass.) also contributed assists.
The Cadets will look to cement their spot in the GNAc playoffs Wednesday night when they visit Elms at 7 PM.
