CANTON, N.Y. - The Norwich Men's Golf Team opened its season this weekend at the St. Lawrence Fall Invitational, finishing 7th out of 13 on the green.

Coming off a season where he earned Second-Team All-Conference recognition, Cooper Bertrand (Caledon, Ont.) led the field for the Cadets, shooting +1 across the tournament, earning second place. On the opening day, Bertrand shot -1 and closed out Sunday +2, finishing two strokes behind Clarkson's Ryan Makowski, who took home the individual win.
