WEST HARTFORD, Conn.- The Norwich Men's Soccer team continued Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action when they traveled down Interstate 91 to take on the University of Saint Joseph Saturday afternoon.
From the outset, the Blue Jays held the territorial edge and put
Kirk Rodgers (Lebanon, Ohio) to the test. Late in the half, Norwich got a chance to break the ice, but
Christian Grubic (Montvale, N.J.) was denied. USJ continued to press, but the game remained scoreless at the half.
In the 64
th minute, the Blue Jays broke through and would continue to pressure. They would tack on two more late in the half. Norwich's road swing will continue Wednesday afternoon when they take on New England College at 4 PM.
