CASTLETON, Vt- The Norwich University Wrestling team was defeated in dual meet competition by WPI 34-12 Saturday afternoon at Glenbrook Gym.

In a matchup in the 141 pound class sophomore Joseph Lotruglio (Andover, N.J.) defeated WPI junior Antonios Sevastos (Mansfield, Mass) by fall at 3:13 to bring the Cadets within striking distance of the Engineers 7-6.

The Cadets would not tally any points in the meet until junior Mason Spriknel (Bel Air, Md.)  picked up a victory by fall over senior Lucas Wilson-Wuestefeld (Barrington, R.I.) in a 285 pound class matchup. The fall occurred at 4:35.

Up next for the Cadets is the RIT Invitational on December 3. The 12 team meet gets underway Saturday December 3 at 9 AM in Rochester, N.Y.
