BOSTON - The Norwich University women's soccer team was eliminated from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) postseason with a 1-0 loss at Emmanuel College on Saturday. 

Senior goalkeeper Kim Watt (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) made six saves in goal, but Emmanuel was able to score the game-winning goal with just under seven minutes remaining in regulation to end the Cadets' playoff hopes. 

Emmanuel (5-7-2, 4-5-0 GNAC) outshot Norwich 12-3 in the game.

Addie LeGault scored the game-winning goal for Emmanuel with her eighth goal of the season.

Norwich travels to Albertus Magnus next Friday, before returning home to host Anna Maria next Wednesday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. in its 2021 season finale.
