Springfield, Mass.--- Springfield took eight of the 10 weight classes Wednesday en route to a 36-6 victory over the Norwich University wrestling team.

The Cadets only wins came at 141 pounds when Tyrell Carstarphen (Topeka, Kan.) defeated Marc Pinto, 3-2, and when Mike Babbin (Plymouth, Mass.) won a decision at 197 pounds.

Dave Pinto (Milford, Mass.) who moved up to fourth in the New England Wrestling Association rankings this week at 165 pounds, fell 3-2 to Derrick Longo, who finished third nationally a year ago.

Chris Schenk (Newnan, Ga.) also cracked the weekly rankings at 184 pounds dropped a 2-1 decision.

Norwich will be back in action Jan. 27 at Rhode Island College for the New England Dual Championships.
