WALTHAM, Mass. - Kevin Weber had a hand in a
pair of victories in the pool to help lead the Norwich University
men's swimming and diving team to a split of a tri-meet versus
Regis and Bentley on Tuesday. The Cadets outpointed Regis, 86-37,
but fell to Bentley, 146-117.
Weber won the 50-yard butterfly in a time of 27.25 seconds to
lead Norwich (3-5). He then teamed with Peter Bue, Zander Fields
and Mike Zemanek to help the Cadets capture gold in the 400-yard
freestyle relay (3:38.51).
Joe Moeller picked up a victory in the 200-yard individual
medley (2:06.93), while John Brecht captured the one-meter diving
event (119.65 points).
Norwich returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 16, when the Cadets
travel to Babson Park, Mass., to swim against Babson College. The
first events are set to begin at 1 p.m.
