LYNDON CENTER, Vt. - The Norwich University
volleyball team extended its win streak to 10 straight on Tuesday
evening with a 3-0 victory over in-state rival Lyndon State
College. The Cadets won by game scores of 25-17, 25-17, and 25-19.
Sophomore April Byllaardt led the way for Norwich (10-2) with 11
kills. Junior Molly Rice added 24 assists, 14 digs and three aces,
while fellow junior Thea Evans chipped in three services aces for
the Cadets.
Norwich returns to its Great Northeast Athletic Conference
(GNAC) schedule on Saturday, Sept. 26, when the Cadets host
conference rivals Emerson (11 a.m.) and Johnson & Wales (3
p.m.) at Andrews Hall.
