NORTHFIELD, Vt. - The Norwich women's swimming
and diving team dropped a 200-45 decision to Keene State on
Saturday afternoon at Goodyear Pool, dropping the Cadets to 0-3 on
the young season.
Ashley Sanford led the way, placing runner-up in a pair of
events. She took second in the 100-yard IM with a clocking of
1:31.08. She also came in second in the 500-yard freestyle
(7:41.21).
Victoria Amador set the pace for NU in the diving events, taking
second in the one-meter discipline with 141.70 points.
Christine Doudell placed runner-up in the 100-yard freestyle
with a time of 1:06.40, while Lauren Walsh finished second in the
100-yard butterfly (1:32.70). Dana Wanjon rounded out Norwich's
list of runner-up finishers, touching the wall second in the
200-yard breaststroke with a time of 3:07.60.
NU will return to the pool on Wednesday, Nov. 14, when the
Cadets host St. Michael's at 4 p.m. at Goodyear Pool.
