NEWTON, Mass. – The Norwich volleyball team got back on track Saturday afternoon, defeating Albertus Magnus, 3-0, in a GNAC match. The win, which snaps a four-match losing streak, improves the Cadets record to 8-4 (3-2 GNAC).
NU had little trouble defeating Albertus Magnus, winning by game scores of 30-8, 30-11 and 30-13.
Molly Rice set the pace for the Cadets, recording a double-double of 27 assists and 13 service aces. Lisset Magdaleno chipped in with eight kills and six digs, while Ami Fuller added 11 a team-high kills and three blocks.
Keira Holmes contributed six digs for Norwich, which won for the first time since defeating Emmanuel on Sept. 16.
