NU Softball Field

The NU Softball Field, positioned on the northwest periphery of the campus, stands as a significant venue, hosting all home games and events for the university's softball team.

This field boasts a rich history, having changed locations multiple times before settling in its current spot. Originally, the field was situated at Disney Field but was relocated in 2001 to where South Hall is presently situated. It found its permanent home in a strategic location beyond the train tracks, adjacent to the picturesque Graveyard Pitch. This unique positioning allows for a captivating viewing experience.

The field's current site is distinct, being nestled within a crater, which offers a unique vantage point for spectators. Fans have the choice of watching the games from the outfield or from a nearby hill, which not only overlooks the field but is also equipped with a set of bleachers, ensuring a comfortable viewing experience for a larger audience.
